The Sooke Highlanders welcomes all ages and experience levels. For those who are already pipers or drummers we can have you kitted out by the time you learn our parade set. If you are new to the joys of a highland band we will start you off with a free practice chanter and music book or drum pad and sticks. You will be given free instruction to get you onto the actual instruments and up to performance level.

The band provides drums and slings or practice chanters and reeds for members. Start your musical experience with Sooke Pipes and Drums by coming down to the Sooke Legion on a Monday evening (upstairs hall) at 6:30 PM or by contacting Pipe Major Angus Stanfield/Drum Sergeant Dave Green.
